It ends with a question mark and usually has the verb located before the subject.  Yes-No question An interrogative construction that expects an answer of “yes” or “no”.  Are you going?  Do you like it?    WH-question   A question that is formed with an interrogative word (what, who, whom, whose, which, when, where, why, or how) and that expects an answer other than yes or no.  Alternative questions A type of question that offers the listener a closed choice between two or more answers.    In conversation, an alternative question typically ends with a falling intonation(降调).      Alternative questions Would you rather wait or come later? Shall I give you a hand, or can you manage? Which do you like better, tea or coffee? Rhetorical questions  A question asked merely for effect with no answer expected. The answer may be obvious or immediately provided by the questioner.
