The Origin of This Culture This culture has its origin in Christianity which can be dated to Nomad culture in Mediterranean area. In the past people there suffered a lot because of harsh natural surroundings and the lack of mountain barrier. They had to move from time to time in search of water and grass. During the great migrations they had to unite and depend on each other to walk out of the deserts and to survive. Gradually a culture of gratitude took root. For what should we give thanks? For victory. For his goodness and mercy (forgiveness). For his protection. For his holiness and faithfulness. For the wonders of creation and life. For his truth, his righteous ordinances and judgments. For food, drink and other provisions. For healing. For the evidence of God at work in the lives of Gods people. For wisdom and power. For answered prayer. For everything. For all men. When should we give thanks? A. ?In every circumstance. ?B.?
