In view of the above problems and combined with the characteristics of Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center Project, this paper applied BIM (building information model) technology to construction project and researched on BIM model establishment and its application in further design, mechanical performance analysis of construction process, construction guidance and the monitoring of assembly deformationrespectively.It solved some difficultise in construction process of Changsha International Exhibition Cente,such as difficultise in complex installation, tension control and technical disclosure.
