Unit 6 Weather Grammar Degrees of Adjectives and Adverbs 一 大多数adj. 和 adv. 都有三个等级： 1、 原级 （ Positive Degree ): adj. 或adv. 原形是原级。（不含比较时用adj.或adv.的原级） e.g. tall ,beautiful ,quickly , slowly.... 2 、比较级（Comparative Degree) : 在两 者之间 比较用比较级，表示“....比...更...” e.g. 1) He is taller than I . 2) She runs faster than I . 3 最高级（ Superlative Degree) 三者或三者 以上进行比较用最高级，表示“ 最... ” 1) He is the tallest of us three. 2) She runs fastest in our class. 二 、1. 单音节和部分双音节 adj./ adv.的比 较级和最高级的构成： 1） 一般在词尾加 -er/est. e.g. tall - taller -tallest young - - fast - - 2) 以字母e 结尾的词，加-r 或-st . e.g. late - later - latest large - - 3) 以一个辅音字母结尾重读闭音节的词，先双写这一辅音字母，再加-er 或-est . big - bigger - biggest younger youngest faster fastest larger largest hot - - thin - - fat - - thinner hottest hotter thinnest fatter fattest busy - busier - busiest 4) 以“辅音字母加 y 结尾的词” ，先改 y 为 i ,再加 -er 或-est. heavy - - early - - heavier heaviest earlier earliest 2 部分双音节和多音节adj./adv.的比较级和最高级构成 ： 1) 比较级 ： 在adj./adv. 的前面加more 或 less e.g. more / less beautiful important - difficult - delicious- carefully- easily - more/less important more/less difficult more/less delicious more/less carefully more/less easily 1) 最高级： 在adj./adv. 的前面加 the most /the least e.g. the most /least important important - difficult - delicious- carefully- easily - the most / least important the most / least difficult the most / least delicious the most / least carefully the most / least easily 5. 有少数adj./adv.的比较级和最高级是不规则的，如： 原级 比较级 最高级 good/well better best bad/ill worse worst many/much more most little less least far
