The automatic transmission is the difficulty in assembly of vehicle maintenance and repair is one of the largest, but also the most difficult to learn. This paper Passat B501N automatic transmission as an example to explore. This paper mainly analyzes the structure and working principle of the Passat B5 automatic transmission, and through some concrete cases, focuses on the fault diagnosis analysis and troubleshooting of Passat B501N automatic transmission, and summarizes the basic principle and the structure characteristic of this kind of transmission.
