Abstract
With the reforming and opening policy developed further, English is still an important cool to communicate with diffident people. Language is the tool of communication, and the speaking level will reflect and have a direct influence to the quality and result of a conversation. Therefore, it has become a hot topic of the world,to develop the ability of communication with English is to use it fluently in daily life. For English learning, the practical use of English is the oral English. For a long time, English teaching based on the examination in China has overstressed the instillation of knowledge, but neglected the application of language skills, especially the cultivation of the spoken language ability, causing the Dumb English. In recently, regardless of the implementation of the new secondary English curriculum standards, the situation has not essentially changed. There exist several problems, mainly the schools, the teachers and the students themselves by summarizing. This paper takes the junior middle school students as the research object. It will have a brief introduction of the students’ recent speaking level and an analysis of these main problems in oral English teaching and learning process, and an analysis of problems in schools. In terms of these problems, this paper will put forward effective teaching approaches to create efficient Oral English classes. The paper emphasizes the teaching model gets changed and that more the teaching scene will be involved into the daily life, to create the favorable atmosphere of oral English studying and teaching.
