2. Show more pictures about the South Pole. Then ask Ss to say more about it as far as they know.
3. Ask Ss to try the quiz in Activity 1 in pairs and then give them the right answers.
4. Divide Ss into two groups: those who would like to go to the South Pole and those who wouldn’t. Ask each group to discuss their own reasons first and then give ten reasons for their choice. Ask Ss to have a debate to practice speaking. Then get Ss to write down their reasons.
Write a short passage about the South Pole.
