3. DiscussionWhat should we do to protect the wild animals? Reference answer At first we should put more element of protecting the wild animals in our daily education. secondly we should ban all kinds of trade in wild animals ,including the living or skins. Finally we should give strict punishment on those who kill wild?animals Keys: An introduction to the story: The narrator of the story found Maheegun while fishing with his grandfather. The unusual name suggests that the boy was probably an Indian. And the story was probably set in a cold area of Canada or the United States. The story is about the friendship and love between the boy and the wolf. It tells us that we should respect all life forms because we share this little planet. This is a kind of environmental literature that is becoming increasingly popular. The boy treated the wolf as his brother because they hunted together, played together and understood each other. But the narrators grandfather knew from his experience that one day the wolf would return to nature. Then the time had come for the wolf to return to the wild. Two years later, after visiting his cousins during the Easter holidays, the boy was caught in a terrible snowstorm and was saved by the wolf. The text is adapted from “Boys Life”, published in August, 1974. 押们吼厨杆驴屡隙猿罩赫骨雀绰魏灾享翁俐爱捻危沟窑钒荧煎虾抱息玩而现代大学英语2 第二课Maheegun My Brother现代大学英语2 第二课Maheegun My Brother Multiple Choice 1) She leaped into the boat and grabbed the oars.
