Students can understand the meaning the sentence such as Whats in the classroom? Ability aim: Students can use the sentence what’s in the classroom? to ask and answer the questions. Emotional aim: Students can evaluate everything in the classroom and feel grateful to the society. Teaching Key points:Students can learn the words classroom, window, door, picture, blackboard, light and so on. Teaching difficult points: Student should pay attention to the plural form when Answering the quesiton.Whats in the classroom? Teaching Method TPR Audio-lingual Multimedia and so on Teaching aids Tape recorder, word cards and so on Teaching procedures. Step1: Warm up. 1.First sing “an apple a day” with students to make a good atmosphere. 2.Play “Guessing game” T:What’s this ? Guess. Whats in the pencil-box? And how many ? T: You are pretty smart. Look! Class. We have a new classroom. Step2:Presentation In this step, ask Ss Look! Whats in the classroom? Students may answer Two boards, six lights, many desks and chairs….According to the items in the classroom ,teach new words. Then ask students What’s that?and how many?After that, pointing to different things, let students say out the words. Then show some word cards, let SS read. At the same time, Teacher can tell some skills to help ss to learn . Then Play Listen an find.8 students in a group, Each student will be given a word. For example , LiLing is given a word door,she should run to the back of the door, when the teacher read this word. If he does the right way, the group he is in will be give a luckystar.At last, the group who get the most stars will be the winner. Then Look at the picture on page5 and practice English. L
