The translation of the names of scenic spots has become an effective way not only to publicize China, but also promote China’s tourist industry. However, various problems still exist in the translation of the names of scenic spots, and the quality of the translation of the names of scenic spots needs to be improved. The theories of this area in China are still in want. Therefore, the present thesis attempts to give an in-depth analysis of the existing problems in the C-E translation of the names of scenic spots and introduces the translation methods of the names of scenic spots from the perspective of culture transmission. Literature review Since 1970, especially after 1990, culture became a hot topic in translation studies.
