(1)Broad cast Let’s Start. Let the Ss guess the topic of this unit.
Learn to sing the song My New Teacher.

Ss: We’re in Grade 5.
T:Do you like your new English books?
Ss: Yes!
T:What are we going to talk about inUnit1? Guess! What’s the topic of Unit1?
(2)Practice the oral English.
