We see things with our eyes and hear things with our ears. 2). on 表示“步行” e.g.: I usually go to school on foot. 3). by 表示使用某种手段、交通工具或通讯工具。在by前不可出现冠词、代词或形容词 e.g.: We can go to Japan by plane. She went to that shop by car. People cross the river by boat. by后还可跟动名词 e.g.: We can save water by fixing a dripping tap. I can give you that composition by sending you an E-mail. 4). in 表示用某一种语言来表达，用某种声音来说话或用某种原材料来做一件事等 e.g.: Can you speak in English? They are discussing in a low voice. Don’t draw in pencil. 5). through 表示用某种方法、媒介或通过某种途径来做一件事 e.g.: I learned the news through China Daily. He became thinner through swimming. 6). at 表示用或以某种速度运行，或以某种价格成交 e.g.: The car is running at a speed of 60 kilometers. The new house is decorated at a cost of 50000 yuan. 7). of 表示用什么材料/ 原料制成，通常指看得出制成品的原材料 e.g.: The table is made of wood. The skirt is made of cloth. 8). from 表示用某种材料制成某物，通常指看不出制成品的原材料的情况 e.g.: Nylon is made from oil. Paper is made from wood. （四）关键句型 Fishing is not allowed. 禁止钓鱼。 be allowed表示：被允许 be not allowed表示：不被允许，不准 此为被动语态结构，很多规则可以用be not allowed的结构来表达 e.g.: Water games are not allowed in this room.
