Unit 8 由关系代词as引导的定语从句 关系代词as既可以引导限制性定语从句,也可以引 导非限制性定语从句,在从句中作主语,宾语,表语. (1)引导限制性定语从句: 常用 ① such … as…“像……一样的”，“像……之类” the same…as…“和……同样的 在这两个句型中，as是关系代词，其中suchsame做定语，修饰主句的名词、代词，这个名词是这个定语从句的先行词，as在从句中担任主、宾、表。 (2). …such as… such为代词，意思为”这样的人/物“，as在从句中担当成分,修饰先行词such。 例如：This book is not such as I expect. 这不是一本我所希望的书. 2. as引导非限制性定语从句, 放在主句前后都可,有时还可插入主句中; 而which引导的非限定性定语从句只能置于主句之后.相同的是两者都可以指代主句的整个内容. 例如:He turned out to be very successful , which was more than we could except. 他竟然成功了,这一点我们没有预料到. 众所周知,爱迪生发明了电灯.
