GENERAL RULES / PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 总则 /请仔细阅读 1. Chinese citizens holding an ordinary (non-official) passport need a visa to enter Turkey. The visa must be obtained before leaving China. You may apply to the Consulate General of Turkey in Shanghai if you are located (physically living and working) in Shanghai city or Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. If you are located in some other city/province, you need to apply to the Turkish Embassy in Beijing or to the Consulate General of Turkey in Guangzhou. Please note that your “hukou” or place of issue of your passport does not determine your place of application.
