Classroom Procedures For Mr. Bray’s Room Walking in the Halls Road rules: WALK on the right side of the hallway Walk single file No running and keep hands to yourself Avoid creating giant discussion groups that block the flow of traffic Entering the Room Please enter quietly Have a seat Take out your materials Begin Bell Work assignment Review Lesson Agenda When You Are Late Get late slip from office Enter quietly Place your late slip or signed agenda on my desk Have a seat and take out materials Moving Around The Room Raise hand to ask to move around the room Make good decisions, do not interrupt discussion and lecture time Sharpen pencils; get tissues at your discretion Dispose of recycling and garbage at the end of class bell work procedure Open your bell work section in your binder Name, Class, Date on the paper Answer the bell work questions as full statements Organize your bell work so it is in chronological order (by date) Classroom Discussions PLEASE participate Put your hand up if you have a comment. I want to hear what you have to say. Make all questions and comments relevant to the current discussion. If your question is off the topic, write it down and ask later. Listening to and responding to questions Sit in the learning position in your desk. Eyes open and attention focused on the teacher. Avoid distracting behaviors (snoring, tapping, etc). Raise your hand to respond to questions.
