Aims and demands:
In this lesson the children learn to say:
The words of colours: red, orange, green, yellow, pink, white, blue, black, purple
The sentences: I like… What a rainbow.
Sing the song: The rainbow
Teaching Important and Difficult Points:
Ss can remember the target words and the new word ‘purple’
Teaching Aids:
A tape recorder; The word cards and pictures of colours;
Teaching Process:
Step 1: Warming up / Review.
1.Greetings: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today?
2.Sing the songs: The butterfly (边唱边贴颜色)
Step 2: Presentation
Teach the written words of colours and spell them. ( 板书,带读)
T: I like … What about you?
S: Me, too. / I like…
Drill: a game ‘What’s missing?’ (单词卡片)
Draws a rainbow on the Bb and ask what colour they are while drawing each line. Lead in the new words: rainbow and sentence: What a rainbow.
Step 3: practice
Open the books on P16 and read the words of numbers together.
Listen to the tape.
Listen again and try to sing it.
Step 5: Consolidation
Step 6: Homework
1. Listen to the tape and read the words 3 times.
2. Sing the song 3 times.
