Monkey King, a 3D animated adaption of the classical epic, A Journey to the West, opened July 10 on the Chinese mainland. Its latest box office figure was announced on Saturday by Liu Zhijiang, general manager of HG Entertainment, the films production company. Beijing police said Saturday that they arrested nine suspects and found six assembly lines and more than 1m cell phone parts in the companys factory. The police started to investigate the company in May after fake China-made iPhones were seized in the US. The police said the company bought old phone mainboards from foreign countries and fake parts with logos from Shenzhen.
