Through the analysis of practical problems in the design of Chinese yacht, the author proposed scientific outlook on development for yacht design- local originality , creative arts and collaborative innovation. Based on methods and models of yacht design and innovation in Wuhan University of Technologyas, the author establisheds the innovation model of “integration, synergy and localization for Chinas yacht design, localization of original yacht design is based on subject integration and industrial synergy . In a word, the author explored a development direction for design and innovation of Chinese yacht.
