英语禁忌语分析 作者： 导师： 摘 要 禁忌语已经在英语语言中已经存在很长的时间了，并仍在随着社会发展和人们认知的改变而改变。学习英语禁忌语有利于更好的了解英语语言和英语文化。为了用英语更好的交流与沟通，学习如何正确使用英语禁忌语以及何时规避英语禁忌语是至关重要的。本文旨在对英语禁忌语进行研究。本篇论文共有六章，第一章对英语禁忌语的定义与来源进行了介绍。第二章是文献综述。第三章描述了英语禁忌语的分类，包括称谓禁忌，词汇禁忌，话题禁忌。第四章讨论了英语禁忌语的功能，体现了禁忌语也有其积极的语用功能。第五章列举了一些禁忌语的规避策略。第六章是文章的总结。 关键词：英语禁忌语; 功能; 策略 An Analysis of English taboos Author: Supervisor: ABSTRACT Taboos have been existed in English language for a long time, and they are still changing with the development of the society and people’s cognition. Learning English taboos is helpful to know English language and English culture better. To communicate and get along better with English-native speakers, it is necessary to know how to use them appropriately and when to avoid using them. This paper aims to make an analysis of taboos in English language. It consists of six chapters. In chapter one, it introduces the definition and source of taboos. In chapter two, it lists some existed studies relating to English taboos. In chapter three, it describes the classifications of taboos, including appellation taboos, vocabulary taboos, and taboo topics. In chapter four, it explores the functions of taboos. From these functions of taboos, it can be seen that the existence of English taboos has its positive significance. In chapter five, some strategies of avoiding taboos are put forward. The chapter six is the conclusion of this study.
