Unit 2 Schoolbag A Let’s learn Let’s do Shiyan Primary School Chen Ling Good morning, everyone. I’m Chen Ling from Shiyan Primary School. I’m very glad to show the outline of my teaching plan for Unit 2 Part A Let’s learn and Let’s do from Book 4. My explanation falls into the following 3 parts. Part 1 Analysis of the teaching materials 1. Status and function I think this is an important lesson in Book 4. Such a topic is related to Ss’ daily life. It can arouse the students’ special attention and encourge them to take an interest in learning English. It can also help to train students’ listening and speaking skills. 2. Analysis of students It is not a long history that English is as a subject in primary school in our country,and the main aims of teaching English in primary school is to train pupils’ abilities of their listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. After learning this lesson, Ss will show a great interest in English. 3. Teaching aims and demands 1). Knowledge objects a) Listen、speak and read the key words: schoolbag, Chinese book, English book, math book, notebook, story-book. b) Can use the key sencence“How many +Cn (pl) do you have?
