Warming up by learning about Present progressive tense
Present Progressive Tense
Piggy is reading,The above sentence shows that Piggy is reading even now as we are talking about it. To show an action, which is happening (in progress) when we are talking about it, we use the Present Progressive Tense.To get the present progressive tense we write the present tense of to be (is/are) and add ing to the verb in the present tense For eg. is running.
Remember : - Is is added in case of singular nouns/pronouns, For eg. He is drinking.
Are is added in the case of plural nouns/pronouns For eg. They are drinking
