Unit2 Food for Thought 例题解析1 Ⅰ.词汇解读 1.influence n. 影响，有影响的人（或事） have bad/good influence on sb./sth. 对某人/物有不良/好的影响 under the influence of 在……的影响下 use one’s influence 利用某人的势力 have influence over others 对别人有影响（由于地位、能力等） through the influence of friends 通过朋友的影响　如： （1）My parents considered my friend to be a bad influence on me. 我父母认为我朋友对我有不良影响。 （2）My teachers’s influence made me study science at college. 由于老师们的影响，我上大学学了理科。 （3）The weather influences crops. 天气影响农作物。 注意：influence还作及物动词用，意思是“影响，改变”。如： My teacher influenced my decision to study science. 我的老师对我决定学理科起了影响作用。 【案例】Over-heating development mi
