滨 州 学 院 外 语 系 本 科 学 年 论 文 题 目 英汉散文语篇衔接对比研究与翻译 系 （院） 外语系 专 业 英 语 班 级 2009级本2 学生姓名 张 三 学 号 2009010208 二〇一四年XX月XX日 英汉散文语篇的衔接对比研究与翻译 摘 要 随着中国国际地位的提升，中国与西方的联系日益密切，文化交流更是日益频繁。许多西方优秀作品被翻译成中文引进国内，也有许多中国的优秀作品被翻译成外文走向国际。而衔接手段是英汉互译过程中的重要因素。但是由于文化、认知和思维方式等的不同，中英语篇的衔接手段也存在差异，使得作品在翻译过程中受到阻碍，从而影响到文本的理解与意义的传达。本文主要通过对比、例证等手段，对英汉散文语篇翻译中照应、省略这两种衔接手段进行研究。对照应的研究主要从英汉散文中人称对照、指示对照、比较对照这三方面进行，而对省略的研究则主要从名词性省略、动词性省略和短语省略进行。通过对英汉散文语篇接手段的对比研究，可以分析它们在英汉散文翻译中的不同特点及要求从而为中英散文翻译提供一定的指导，进一步提高翻译的质量，更好地促进中西文化的交流。 关键词：散文语篇；衔接手段；翻译  A Contrastive Study of Cohesion in English and Chinese Prose Discourse and Prose Translation Abstract With the intercultural communication between China and other English-speaking countries becoming increasingly closer, more and more Chinese and English prose writings, as a part of culture, are translated into each other language. But due to the differences of cultures, cognition and thinking patterns and so on, the cohesive devices of English and Chinese prose discourse are also different, which make many obstacles in Chinese-English prose translation. This thesis aims to study the cohesive differences of English and Chinese prose discourse in the aspects of reference and ellipsis. The study of reference will be carried out from the aspects of personal reference, demonstrative reference, comparative reference and the study of ellipsis will be carried out from the aspects of nominal ellipsis, verbal ellipsis and clausal ellipsis. Through this study, some instructions for Chinese-English prose translation can be applied to improve the quality of the translations and to promote cultural exchange.
