Scope of Work For Custodial Services Facilities Services Oregon State University Corvallis, OR ARTICLE 1 – INTRODUCTION The purpose of this Scope of Work (SOW) is to clearly define the custodial service requirements of the Facilities Services Department at Oregon State University (the University) so that the Contractor is fully aware of the Universitys requirements and expectations. This SOW will form the basis of the Custodial contract at the University and should be used to develop the Contract. The central point of contact for Facilities Services is the Work Coordination Center (WCC) and all contractor requests or notifications should be directed to that office at 541-737-2969 or via email at FacServCustomerService@oregonstate.edu. ARTICLE 2 – TASK PERFORMANCE STANDARDS All tasks performed in providing Base Bid Services are listed, numbered, and defined in this section. These definitions apply to the corresponding listings on the Service Levels and Task Frequency Chart, Appendix G, and on the Schedule of Prices, Attachment 1. These individual task standards provide the basis for evaluating contract performance. Additionally, the contractor may be asked to provide some or more of these same services on a Task Bid basis, where customers outside of the Base Bid scope request and pay for the custodial activities. The cost associated with these tasks will be billed directly to the individual customers on a monthly basis. The Schedule of Prices submitted in response to this RFP will be used to determine allowable Task Bid pricing. Please note that the University is continually upgrading and modifying the campus buildings to provide a better learning, teaching and work environment. When a building within the scope of this RFP is pulled offline for construction activities, the custodial contractor will be asked to discontinue services to that building for a set period of time.
