The 2014 Tour de France UK Stages Using the resource This resource aims to provide teachers with ideas and technique in using web-based resources to study the UK Stages of the 2014 Tour de France. These ideas and techniques will need to be adapted to create classroom activities for students. The resource is based on one interactive map that has some GIS tools. The work can be extended by linking it to Google Earth. Images, maps and other data can also be incorporated. The activities are written in a generic style, i.e. they do not relate to any specific Stage of the race.
