English translation agency domestic of sports business has become increasingly international, thus the fluidity of sportsman being more quick. With more and more good players playing abroad, international exchange more generally, translation plays a more and more important role. At present, many scholars have made in-depth studies on science and technology news in English , but very few studies on sports in English. Although our country’s sports career has turned into market principle, the research on the sports translation is relatively lagged, which can’t the damends of sports markets meet. from the functional equivalence principle, combined with the quo of sports English translation, in order to help more amateurs learn the sports culture, and enhance the cross-culture exchange of sports career and influence of our country’s sports English, my research analyses the characteristics of sports English, and some translation tactics.
