模拟器在《数据网组建与运维》教学中的应用王东摘要：《数据网组建与运维》是通信技术专业教学的重要课程，但是教学实践中面临着包括路由器和交换机在内的教学设备成本高昂和更新换代速度快等现实困难，有限数量的教学设备仅能保证学生按组进行的轮换实践操作，教学效率和质量受到很大影响。由于学生进行验证性实验的机会少，理论和实践相互脱节的情况也是普遍存在的。如何在与网络设备相关的课程中提高教学效率，促进教学质量和降低教学成本，采用真实机与模拟器混合的模式不失为一种解决的办法，这样既可以将真机与虚拟机的某些差异演示出来，也可以是学生熟悉网络设备，如：接口，外观等。本文着重介绍了GNS3网络模拟器在《数据网组建与运维》教学实践中的应用，并对模拟器辅助教学的作用进行了深入分析。 关键词：数据网组建与运维、GNS3、网络设备模拟器、教学实践。Applying simulation tool for teaching in the course ‘establishment and maintenance of data network’.　 　Dong Wang(Guangdong lingnan institute of technology, Guangzhou 510095, China) Abstract: the course of ‘establishment and maintenance of data network’ is one of important courses in communication technology specialty. There are always some difficulties occurred in the teaching process including high costs and fast upgrade of network devices, network devices in limited quantities are hard to meet the requirement of maintaining teaching quality and improving teaching efficiency. Also, only limited quantities of student are well trained in such a circumstance. Due to the less chances of operating network devices such as routers and switches, it is difficult for students to connect theories and verification experiments. Thus, how to overcome such a difficulty has become a hot issue of networking related teaching teams of many university. Apart from increasing budget for purchasing more network devices, applying software based simulator seems a solution widely used in many networking labs. A simulator of network devices (i.e. GNS3) is able to perfectly simulate working states of network devices such as network topology, command line and even errors of network devices during the work. There are so many benefits of using network simulators for teaching; however, we can’t treat a simulator as real device, it is also not the replacement of real device. The students have to know the little differences between a real device and a simulator. Some characteristics such as device appearance, device hardware interfaces, conne
