With a strong sense of social responsibility, Glen Phillips, an Australian contemporary well-known prolific poet, loves the great nature and shows concerning about the ecology. He has written a lot of poems on various themes, such as nature, life, love, philosophy and so on. Speaking highly of the magnificent nature, criticizing human beings’ endless greed and revealing the ecological crisis, Glen Phillips advocates the harmonious development between human beings and nature. This paper aims to analyze Glen Phillips’ ecological consciousness of his poetry from the perspective of ecological criticism. Key Words: Glen Phillips, Australian poetry, ecocriticism 澳洲诗人菲利普斯诗歌中的生态意识 一、导语 伴随着人类中心主义的思想观念和科技的飞速发展，人类对自然的掠夺与征服已至巅峰，人类社会及其文明似乎达到了前所未有的鼎盛时期。与此同时，水土流失，草场退化，土地盐碱化，矿产资源遭到破坏，森里和湖泊面积急剧下降，生物多样性不断地减少等等生态问题也早已是危机四伏。19 世纪末 20 世纪初美国著名的生态文学作家缪尔向人类中心主义发出了质疑，并提出要重视万物的整体利益：“造物主创造动植物的首要目的是要使它们中的每一个人都获得幸福，而不是为了其中的一个幸福而创造出其余的一切。为什么人类要将自己这一小部分利益凌驾于万物的整体利益之上呢? ”缪尔随后，以“生态整体观”为核心思想的生态批评发起于20世纪70年代。生态批评聚焦于挖掘文学作品中人与自然的关系，批判人类中心主义的谬误思想，宣扬以“生态整体观”为核心的生态中心主义思想，以此唤醒人们的生态保护意识，达到人与自然的和谐发展。澳大利亚当代著名诗人格兰·菲利普斯是一位热爱自然，关注生态，具有强烈的社会责任感的多产诗人，其诗歌对自然、人生、爱情、哲学等方面都有所涉及，其中不乏许多佳作
