The Exploration of British Pub Culture and its Etiquette Abstract: Pub, as a community culture, it plays a prominent role in the British life. For a foreigner, if you have not been to a pub, you have not been to the Britain. Because pub has a long history in Britain, it demonstrates some special characters of British. Pub, on the one hand, works as a place to rest, and it becomes a necessary part of the British people. On the other hand, pub is a center for British to communicate with each other. It is said that without the bar, the British life has no flavor. In this paper, it introduces the history of British pub, the types of pub, the kinds of wine, pub’s relationship with British society, pub influences on later generation, and some etiquettes and rules that foreigners should obey in detail.
