They will develop in morals, intelligence and physical education overall, have stronger theory basis, stronger engineering practice capacity and wider special knowledge. This specialty is divided into many disciplines and research directions: industrial process control, flight control and guidance, inertia technique and automatic instruments, computer control, mechanical and electronics control, industrial automation, power device control, and so on. Students trained are required to have wider engineering technique basis and special knowledge in electrical technique, electronic technique, control theory, automatic checkout and instrument, information processing, system engineering, computer technique and its application, and network technology. They can work on system analysis, system design, system run, scientific and technical development and research in the fields of motion control, industrial process control, electrical and electronic technique, checkout and automatic instrument, computer technique, information processing, management and decision making, and so on.
