Methods In vitro, the inhibitory effects of total saponin of Solanum lyratum on proliferation of human hepatoma BEL7402 cells and gastric carcinoma SGC7901 cells were measured by MTT colorimetric assay. The mouse tumor model was used to investigate the effects of total saponin on tumor growth. Results The studies demonstrat
