If it was retained, with the passage of time, OLTP system can accumulate considerable amount of historical data. To effectively organize, store such historical data to provide analysis and decision support capabilities is the main mission to a data warehouse and OLAP.  This paper first discussed the concept and features of OLAP, data warehouse design methods and storage structures and data clean-up technologies. Then take the consumption of a person in 2004 as a background to design and build a personal financial data warehouse. It can answer the certain questions through the OLAP or by the system implementation such as the following questions: Every person has his own consumption everyday, but very few people are concerning whether their own consumption is scientific and rational, and doubts always arose at the end of the mouth. How I spend my money? Is this consumption scientific and rational?  In the design, personal financial data warehouse, which is introduced by the star shape structure, take the price and quantity for measurement; take the date, temperature layers and the main venue distribution
