History, as we known, is a word that relates to past events. It means to dis- cover, collect,organize and present info- rmation about these events. So it is a mir- ror of past events. Then it introduced hi- storian who recorded these events. Generally speaking, As later generations,we usual-ly hope that history should be authen-tic and reflect the fact.Ofcourse, this auth-enticity relied mostly on historians honesty narrative. To be great historian, there need several basic standards: 1. To be objective and fair. 2.Get to the bottom of the affair. 3.With a skeptical attitude. In my opinion, history is objective while historian is subjective. Reasons are as follows: Historians are ordinary people too.They have their unique under-standing of history. In many cases,they study history mainly becau-se of their special experience. Historical event itself is boring, only through colo-rful narrative can attract more attention. I think his-torian may reckon this too. In a word, history with historians true feelings would be more interesting and perfect. so i believe his-torian is subject while histo-ry is object. * *
