Most Americans create individualistic style within these generational parameters(参数). Their Style Birthdays and aging Children’s birthdays are celebrated with a party which includes birthday cards, gifts and special cake with lit candles. The same sex As we all know: America gay and lesbian couples have publicized their Controversial demand to legally marry,arguing that marriage is a basic human right. births The birth of a baby is another joyous（令人高兴的） time. Births Baptism（洗礼） After the child is born. there is the baptism ceremony. After the baptism was held in the church, family and friends praise the baby and congratulate its parents . deaths In many ways, death is the most difficult for Americans. Just as Americans fear old age, they are also phobic（ 恐惧症的） about death. Death rituals The visitation,the funeral and the interment of the deceased person. A funeral,frequently conducted by a religious leader,is either held in a church or at the funeral home. Generally Americans believe that they have control of their lives.
