一、学习目标:(1′)
1.Master the drills:When was the car/...invented?
2.Get the main information by listening to the tape.
3.To learn to understand and use passive voice.
二、学习过程:
任务一:导入(启发探究5′)
通过课件呈现中国古代的四大发明: paper- making;printing;compass ; gunpowder
Help the students to say : They are four inventions of China.
任务二:自学 (自主探究 3′)
让学生列举一些他们知道的发明, 如:car, telephone, computer, TV, calculator, light bulb,
microwave oven, electric slipper等。
Then show some inventions on the screen to the students.
Teacher: There are many useful things in the world. They help us a lot in life.
任务三:交流(合作探究 8′)
1.要求学生翻开课本P41,四人一组讨论并猜:Which one of them was invented first?
Which one of them was invented last?
2.After discussing, then number them【1-4】 (1=first, 4=last).
3.Write the results of their discussing on the blackboard.
任务四:听力训练(8′)
1.要求学生听第一遍录音,在每一项发明旁边写下发明的年代,并完成1b练习。
2. Listen and match the inventions with the years. Check their answers:
Picture d: The telephone was invented in 1876.
Picture a: The car was invented in 1885.
Picture c: The TV was invented around1927.
Picture b: The computer was invented in 1971.
3. After listening, check the answers of their discussing on the blackboard.
任务五:课堂引深(探究学习 12′)
1.出示一些图片让学生两人一组模仿Model进行对话练习。

2.邀请一些同学当堂进行演示。
