DESIGN OF THE CONNECTIONS The design is carried out by the piping contractor. Study of the Routing The study must be started upon completion of the piping lay-out. It allows :  - defining the orientation of the nozzles on the column sections and the casing penetration areas, - -selecting the general option for the routing of the tubes and cables, - -grouping the instrumentation nozzles - -in the special case of tubing for liquid analysis with capillary tube, provide a distance of or = 1000 between the nozzle and the casing wall, if possible (see GR.350.61 mounting 11A). Collective Routing Principle The tubes and cables are preferably placed on the inside of the casing wall forming a strand which is held by a stainless steel clip, and come out at the lowest point possible (see chapter 2.3). The routing is traced on a main piping drawing, taking into consideration the following points :  - the areas of grouped nozzles,  - inspection doors in the casing and ladders on the inside,  - casing penetrations. Routing for connections and casing penetrations. EXECUTION OF THE CONNECTIONS Routing The routing of the tubes and cables consists of : an individual routing between the nozzle and the casing, a possible individual routing up to the collective routing, a collective routing en botte.
