3.Enable the Ss to learn about Xie Lei’s school life in London

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Revision
Revise unit 4 by asking the ss to describe Tombe’s classroom, his village and Jo’s school work.
Check the ss’ workbook exercises
Step 2 Lead--in
Do you like traveling? If you have enough time and money, which country would you like to visit?
Do you just want to walk around the Great Wall?
Which one would you prefertraveling abroad or traveling domestically?
Show some pictures and ask students what they are and where they are taken.
Most of you want to travel in a foreign country. Then do you want to go abroad for a further study?
Step 3 pre-reading
