Agreement on Dual Degree Program between Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan And Department of Advanced Science and Technology, Toyota Technological Institute, Japan Based on the terms set out in the Memorandum on Dual Degree Program between National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan and Toyota Technological Institute, Japan, signed on July 11th, 2007, National Chung Hsing University and Toyota Technological Institute agree to sign dual degree program between the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Chung Hsing University and the Department of Advanced Science and Technology at Toyota Technological Institute. Objective Department of Electrical Engineering at National Chung Hsing University (hereinafter referred to as NCHU) and Department of Advanced Science and Technology at Toyota Technological Institute (hereinafter referred to as TTI), agree to develop a joint academic program allowing participating students of the two institutions to be granted a degree by each university. Program Name For the purpose of this document the joint program is called Dual Degree Program hereinafter referred to as the Program. Degree Participating students who complete the Program will earn the predetermined, standard academic degree from their home university. Upon completion of the Program, in accordance with the laws of the partner country and the partner university, participating students will also receive a standard academic degree from their partner university. Selection and Courses The selection of participating students and academic contents of the Program will be decided upon through mutual discussion between the institutions of each university participating in the Program. Details of these items will be set out in a separate addendum to this agreement.
