Prof. Qin graduated from the field of integrative medicine of Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences as a doctorate in 2001, obtained the title of professor in 2005, and has been a visiting scholar in University Duisberg Essen supported by Germany DAAD scholarship working as a TCM physician to popularize TCM in Europe and learning naturopathy, including fasting therapy and leech therapy. Prof. Qin occupies as deputy director of department of traditional Chinese medicine of the first affiliated hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University. Deputy Director Committeeman of specialty council of cardiovascular disease of Guangdong academy of integrative medicine. Prof. Qin has presided many scientific research grants including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, and achieved 1 item scientific research production prize of National Ministry of Education and 2 items scientific research production prize of Guangdong Province.
