F.16 - Balance carry forward of GL Accounts Functionality This program is used to carry forward the balances of the general ledger to the new fiscal year. You can run this transaction multiple times. You should always run it if there are discrepancies between the balances of the GL accounts in the previous and the current fiscal years. The GL balances are carried forward as follows: Balance sheet accounts are transferred with all additional account assignments to the same account numbers. PL accounts are carried forward to the retained earnings account. Additional account assignments are not transferred. The transaction currencies are not transferred and are totaled in the local currency.
