In Unit 16 Stories, students have learned the characeteristics of narrative writing and how to write autobiography. In this Unit Laughter, they will learn to appreciate English humour, jokes and comedies. In Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 students have learned something about humour and jokes, and Lesson 3 is focused on comedies. My Favourite Comedy consists of two parts: Text 1 and Text 2. Text 1 describles a scene of Mr Bean at a restautant celebrating his birthday. Mr Bean’s awkward and clumsy performances always make the audience burst into laughter.
