In the present use: usually (you can’t use used to for the present). Used/use I used to live in Rome. (+) I didn’t use to live in Rome (-) Did you use to live in Rome? (?) Be used to/get used to + gerund Be used to + gerund: to talk about a new situation which is now familiar to you. (less strange) Eg: I am used to living in Rome now. Get used to + gerund: to talk about a situtation which is becoming familiar to you. Eg: I can’t get used to living in Rome.
