Medical Center Stores Information and Policies DELIVERIES Stock orders placed before noon will be filled with available stock and sent out the next scheduled delivery day. Special orders will be delivered as we receive the shipments. INSIDE DELIVERIES Stores delivers once daily to 1542 Tulane Avenue and 1100 Florida Avenue. MC Stores delivers twice daily to the Eye Center, Allied Health, Medical Education and Clinical Sciences Buildings. OUTSIDE DELIVERIES Stores delivers daily to Tulane Medical Center, Children’s Hospital and the Downtown area. We deliver twice a week to the East Bank, Metairie area and to the University of New Orleans and once a week to the West Bank. All others will be scheduled as needed. SPECIAL ORDERS Stores is happy to provide our customers with non-stock items at discounted prices as our contracts allow with one of our many vendors that we have on our Vendor List. Rush orders should be placed prior to noon for us to meet shipping deadlines with most companies. Deliveries will be made to the laboratories upon receipt from the vendor. PLACING ORDERS Special order forms are available from Stores and on line at /mcs. Fax your order (568-3882), phone your request (568-8334) or shop by Internet. Special orders placed with Stores are ordered with the Vendors the following morning. ORDER CONFIRMATIONS Stores will send you an order confirmation via Campus Mail and via email which contains the order information and pricing. Please refer to the order number when you call to inquire about your order. An email confirmation will be sent showing the estimated delivery date. SHIPPING In general, orders are shipped to us within 7 to 10 working days. Shipping time varies with each vendor and each item’s availability. Rush orders (overnight or 2nd day) are available upon request. Rush charges are the responsibility of the investigator. Most of our contracts waive regular shipping charges. If the vendor charges shipping, these costs will be passed on according
