For South Yorkshire Police (SYP): CCTV Cameras are strategically and overtly placed Access to CCTV data transmissions is limited by design CCTV data transmissions are observed, via monitors, by a limited number of trained Safer Partnerships personnel 1.2 The aim of CCTV in South Yorkshire is to help reduce and detect crime and reduce the fear of crime.
