Lesson objectives:
1.To go over the words in Unit 15.
2.To review some patterns of advice: I advise you (not) to do …/I suggest that you do …/Youd better (not) do… /Why not do… /Why dont you do …/Have you thought of …
3.Students will be able to grasp some knowledge about healthy eating and distinguish healthy diet from unhealthy diet.
Teaching aids: a computer, etc.
Teaching procedure:
A.Words and expressions
Hold a competition. Divide the class into groups of 5 or 6 students ( each correct answer, one score).
1.Word puzzle (in computer)
Ask students to find the words or expressions about diet.

2.Word-correcting (in computer)
Show students a group of jumbled words from vocabulary set in Unit 15, ask students to correct them:

3.Acting and guessing
This part is optional. There are three words or expressions. Ask four students to act them out according to their meanings, and let the whole group guess the meanings by watching their actions.

B.Patterns and sentences
1.1) Patterns practice
Ask students to state some patterns of advice like the following: I advise you (not) to do … /I suggest that you do… /Youd better (not) do … /Why not do… /Why dont you do … /Have you thought of …
2) Make up dialogues according to the given situations (in Ss AB, Ex. Ⅱ) and some pictures shown in the computer.
Situation 1:
One of your classmates is travelling to Guilin next week. One problem is that he only has one weeks time. Please give some advice on his or her travel.
Situation 2:
Suppose one of your relatives has just lost his job at the age of 40. He has a wife and two children to support and there seems to be no chance of getting another job; the other problem is that he is in debt. Please give some advice to help him out.
