教案示例 Unit 26 Lesson 104 Revision Lesson objectives: 1.Help the Ss review all the important words and expressions in Unit 26, such as realize / provide / African / manage to do / persuade sb to do etc. ; 2.Help the Ss remember the difference between the modal verbs which show possibilities, such as must / may / might / cant / couldnt etc. Teaching aids: a computer, some objects such as keys, coins, apples, etc. Teaching procedure: A.Words and expressions 1.Word spelling: Ss turn to P157 and read the words and expressions in Unit 26 quickly. (Books closed) Then a memory competition will be fulfilled between girls and boys, who are asked to tell the words and the expressions with the following as the beginning letters in order: a, c, f, l, n, p, r, s, t. The girl or the boy students who can tell the most will win the competition. (in Ss AB Ex. Ⅰ) The answers are: a: airline, African                      p: pound, persuade, c: concert, copy, call back, come to       practise, provide f: fortnight, fly, further, for free           r: realize, ring off l: live                              s: sale, sail, start doing n: non-stop                         t: ton, total, turn down 2.Sentence making: Ss are asked to make as many sentences as they can, trying to make full use of the words and expressions above. The whole class will be divided into four groups. The number of the words and expressions included in each sentence is just the score given to each group. The sentence made may be: An African airline has been persuaded to fly a total of 35 singers for free, who will perform a live concert in fortnight, the ticket sales of which can come to a further 7 million pounds. ( in Ss AB Ex. Ⅱ) 3.Words making: Eleven letters are written down on the Bb for the Ss to make up as many words which appear in Unit 26 as possible. Four Ss will be in one group who write their words down on a piece of paper and at last the four team leaders collect, record and show them. The eleven
