Introduction
Royal dutch shell is an oil and gas company, that founded in 1907 through the alliance of the oil company Royal Dutch petroleum Company and the British Shell Transport and Trading Company. During the about one hundred year, our company has expanded its business all over the world, as a result, there need a diversified workforce and an inclusive environment. Since the mid-1990s, most of our competitors were undertaking diversity and inclusion policies, and that our company also regarded as our strategy. After years development, DI was embedded in Shell, however, it was not successful and these gains were hard won and relatively fragile so that we need go on carrying out it and enhance and improving it.
Main sections
During the change, I am going to use The Three-Step model. More specific phases as follow.
The first phase is unfreezing.
Diversity Inclusion is the strategy for winning and directly supports our ambition to be the world’s most competitive and innovative energy company. It’s about unleashing talent and matching it to business success.
