摘 要 人们早就认识到无极变速器(Continuously Variable Transmission)’s Transmission 公司研制成功VOT金属传动带并于1982年投放市场,推动CVT技术向实用化迈进了一大步。1987年美国福特公司首次在市场上小批量推出装有这种VDT带的CVT汽车,此后意大利菲亚特,日本富士重工和德国大众等多家公司也推出了小批量的CVT汽车(如Ford的Fiesta、Scorpio;Fiat的Uon、Ritmo;Sabaru的Ecvt、WV的Golf等)) Abstract It has been know that Continuously Variable Transmission is the perfect set for improving the vehicles performances. Experts have researched remorselessly and pursued achieving this arm. In the middle and later of 1970’s, Holland VonDoorne’s Transmission Company excogitated metal pushing V-belt and launched in 1982. They carried the technique of CVT forward practicality. After that , Italy Fiat, Japan Fuji, Germany Volkswagen and some auto companies also produced some CVT cars (such as Ford’s Fiesta, Scorpio; Fiat’s Uno, Ritmo; Sabaru’s Ecvt; WV’s Golf). In every country automatic transmissions are regarded as one new way in this field and it has become the focus in today’s inter auto researching and development field. It is obvious that the CVT’s advantages are more than other automatic transmissions’. Its driving convenience and riding comfort correspond with torque converter’s. But the transmissions efficiency is much higher and is close to the level of Automatic Transmission. It is more important that it can assort with outside steering condition of automobile and engine load. It makes the car has a traction idiosyncrasy without “leak” and it is unnecessary cut of power when controlling speed. It dredges adequately the engine potential so it can decrease the fuel consumption obviously, increase the max speed and improve the overtake capability. CVT popular with amateurish drivers because of its simple operation. It cancels the gearlever and clutch pedal. Further more it can control the driver’s view. Moreover, because work and control principles are comparatively simple, it is very possible to make CVT more compact, much lighter and the cost lower. Domestic research and applications are few to this technique
