Example: the picture I like best is the six horses. it is by Xu Beihong and was painted in 1925.it shows six horses running towards you, it is a lively painting in the traditional Chinese style. The horses look wonderfully alive. You feel they are going to come out of the painting and into the room! I think it is delightful. Perhaps it’s because I really like paintings of animals.
