Back Lubricating oil system: Back Cooling water system Back supercharging system Back Air control system Part two: Three Questions Back Why we use the sea water to cool fresh water, and then the lower temperature fresh water use to cool the high temperature fresh water? Back Reason : 1. For the sea water corrosion 2.To reduce the thermal stress. 3.For anti-pollution 1.We can reduce the sea water pipe length. 2.If we used sea water directly to cool the cylinder ,the high different of temperature between combustion chamber and outer surface of the cylinder will cause thermal stress . 3.Do not use sea water directly to cool the system, for anti-pollution, because the lube oil system pressure is higher than the fresh water system, when there is leakage, the lube oil can enter the fresh water system. If the cooling system used sea water, the lube oil maybe discharged into the sea and cause pollution. Back Why do two-stroke diesel engines used more in large vessel?
